This fun and easy project is both delicious and creative!

* 1 cube butter (1/2 cup)

* 1/3 cup sugar

* 1 egg (med or lg)

* ¼ tsp vanilla extract

* 1 & 2/3 cup flour

* 1 tsp baking powder

*Popsicle or lollipop sticks

*Cookie cutters

-In a large bowl cream butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla and mix until smooth

-In a small bowl mix flour and baking powder. Pour half of the flour mixture into the creamed butter, sugar & egg mixture

-Stir gently until flour is incorporated. Repeat with remaining flour. Once mixed together, form into a ball. Place ball on sheet of parchment paper (works best if parchment has been dusted with flour)

-Sprinkle flour on top of ball and then cover with top sheet of parchment. Roll out dough (between sheets of parchment) to 1/4'' thick

-Use cookie cutters to create desired shapes and insert stick into each cookie shape

-Place on un-greased baking pan about 1'' apart and bake at 400° for 7-10 minutes

-Remove from oven and let cool. Frost (recipe below!) and add fun sprinkles!
